Orfer expands its offering to include Formeca packaging machines and Amitec material handling automation

Orfer Oy expands both its product and service offerings and its customer base by acquiring the business of Amitec Oy’s material handling.

By this transaction Orfer’s offerings are expanding remarkably. News in addition to packing machines include the material handling systems for returnable load carriers, dairy trolleys, boxes and trays, used e.g. in dairies. The equipment of earlier known Elopak’s material handling unit, are in use in Finland and all over Europe.


Orfer has also bought the box former manufacturing unit of Formeca Oy, formerly owned by Stora Enso and operated in Lahti. Formeca is very well known in the Finnish packing industry.




By these transactions the competent personnel and the strong know-how will transfer to Orfer.
